NOTE
A dropped engine condition exists when
an engine has been dropped during hand-
ling. This condition may have occurred
when engine was inside shipping con-
tainer or it may have occurred when en-
gine was being handled during routine
maintenance.
1. If an engine has been dropped during handling,
proceed as follows:
a. Install engine maintenance sling (1) (Ref.
b. Inspect four engine mounting pads (2). There
shall be no cracks.
c. Install engine on maintenance stand (Ref.
