Materials:
None
1. Operate engine long enough to ensure that all
engine parts have reached normal operating
temperatures (Ref. TM 55-1520-240-10 or
2. Move engine power lever (N1) to GRD IDLE
(Ref. TM 55-1520-240-10 or Task 1-107).
Run engine for a minimum of 2 minutes to
stabilize engine rpm and temperature.
NOTE
Coastdown time normally exceeds&
seconds.
3. Shut down engine (Ref. TM 55-1520-240-10 or
coastdown.
4. If coastdown time is less than 25 seconds, pro-
ceed as follows:
