(1) Weld cracks and holes.

(1) Refer to paragraph 2-4a for
procedures to install lockbolts. Place
exhaust fender in position and secure
with lockbolts.

duct.

cooler

612-12).
(4) Install fuel housing access
door
(paragraph 4-16c,

WARNING
To prevent injury, ensure that
all
tools
and
maintenance
materials have been removed from
the generator set prior to oper-
ation.
(5) Install exhaust plenum access
cover and secure with turnlock fas-
teners.
(6) Install engine housi
cover and secure with turnl
teners.

(7) Connect battery cable plug
connector to battery.
(8) Run generator set to ensure
proper operation (paragraph 2-3, TM 5-
6115-612-12).

Removal.

(1) Ensure that MASTER SWITCH is
in OFF position.
WARNING
To prevent injury, ensure that
battery is
disconnected before
performing maintenance on elec-
trical components.
(2) Loosen turnlock fasteners and
remove engine housing access cover.
(3) Remove power cable from cable
support.
(4) Remove
cable
