d. Inspect support rod brackets (6) in
center body (5) for cracks and distortion.
e. Inspect support rods (7) for wear, original
diameter is 0.396 +/ 0.001. Maximum
allowable wear is 0.040 inch.
f.
Inspect support rod brackets (6) center
hole for wear, original hole diameter is
0.400 +/ 0.003 inches. maximum allow-
able wear is 0.040 inch.
NOTE
Use wire gage and measure rod
and center hole wear. Maximum
combined wear may not exceed
0.080 inch (8).
g. Measure wear of center body (5). The
center body up and down movement
must not exceed 0.180 inch. Measure the
up and down movement at the aft end of
center body to aft end of tailpipe a the
12:00 O'clock positioin (9).
NOTE
Worn rods or worn center bodies
may be replaced seperately to
maintain authorized tolerances.
h. Fore and Aft movement of center body
must not exceed 0.115 inch.
