20. Remove two protective caps (15).
21. Connect hose (13) to tube (14). Tighten clamp
(12).
22. Connect hose (10) to tube (11). Tighten clamp
(9).
23. Remove protective cap (8).
24. Connect hose assembly (1) to adapter (7).
25. Push in engine igniter circuit breaker and
start engine. (Ref. TM 55-1520-240-10 or Task
2 minutes to dry engine and shut down
engine.
26. Repeat steps 1. thru 12.
To prevent corrosion after cleaning, rust
inhibitor and preservative must be applied
to the compressor.
