(cont)(1) Rig lifting device similar toone shown in figure 2-3, sheet 3(2) Steady and guide engine toensure proper balance.Carefully raiseengine off floor and into position overengine housing.(3) Carefullyguideandlowerengineintoengine housing.Ensurethat enginedoesnot hang up onelectricalwiring,fuellines,oillines, or exhaust nozzle.(4) Ensure that mounting holes inengine support (13) are alined withmountingholesin floor of enginehousing.(5) Secureenginesupports inplace with washers (12), and capscrews(11).Torque to 290-325 inch pounds(32.8-36.7Nm).Disconnectliftingdevice.NOTERemainderof procedurecan bedone by one person.(6) Onunderside ofgeneratorset,installfueldrainhose inretainingclamp.Install cover andsecure with turnlock fasteners.(7) Remove tags and connect oilcooler supply and return lines (10) toengine.(8) Removetagsandconnectelectricalconnections tolowoilpressure valve (9).(9) Removetagsandconnectelectrical connections to starter (8).(10) Removetagsandconnectelectricalconnections tomonopolespeed sensor (7).(11) Removetagsandconnectbleed air line to bleed air connector(6).(12) Remove tags and connect hightension lead to igniter (5).(13) Removetagsandconnectelectrical connections to exhaust gastemperature thermocouple (4).(14) Secure engine exhaust toexhaust nozzle with rim clenching clamp(3).(15)Remove support from underexhaust nozzle.(16)Installplenumaccesscoverandsecurewithturnlockfasteners.(17) Connect fuel line (1) tofuel manifold connection (2).(18) Fillgearboxwithlubricating oil in accordance withparagraph 4-8, TM 5-6115-612-12.(19) Remove tags and connect allelectrical connections to generator.(20) Install oil filler/breatherassembly and support bracket.(21) Installenginehousingaccess cover and secure with turnlockfasteners.2-67
