2. Repair hydromechanical assembly showing evidence of
leakage or with missing cut or deformed seal as follows.
a. Remove damaged or defective seal (4).
b. Slide new seal (4) onto wrenching end of 3/8 inch
deep style socket (5).
c. Position socket (5) with seal (4) installed on end
of splined shaft (6).
d. Install seal (4)over splined shaft (6) and
adjacent to male spline.
