When installing float, tighten nut only
enough to seat flow against washer. If
nut is overtightened, damage to float
will occur.
1. Install float (1), washer (2), and nut (3) on
shaft (4).
2. Hand-tighten nut (3) until float (1) is seated
against washer (5).
