2. Adjust compressor rotor ground idle speed by
turning adjustment screw (1).
NOTE
Adjustment screw must be turned one half
turn beyond desired setting; then returned
onehalf turn to desired setting. This will elim-
inate backlash on adjustment screw. One full
turn of adjustment screw will result in change
of approximately ten percent of compressor
rotor speed when power selector lever is in
ground idle position.
Start engine. (Ref. TM 55152024010 or

b. Turn adjustment screw (1) clockwise to in-
crease ground idle speed.
c.
Turn adjustment screw (1) counter clockwise
to decrease ground idle speed.
d. Stop engine. (Ref. TM 55152024010 or
NOTE
Adjustments of ground idle speed in excess
of 2% require a turbine engine analysis check
and baseline hit check (Ref. TM
551520240231). Adjustments of less
than 2% do not require a TEAC or baseline
hit check provided it is the first such adjust-
ment since the engine was last baselined.
