b. Remove vexar nylon webbing (E56) (146)
from shaft journal area (147).
c. Inspect all visible areas of shaft (148). There
shall be no cracks.
d. Inspect shaft journal area (147).
(1) There shall be no pitting or nicking.
(2) Measure outside diameter, Use outside
micrometer caliper. Outside diameter
shall not be less than 2.0425 inches.
e. Inspect spline (149) (Ref. Task 1-118). There
shall be no wear deeper than 0.005 inch.
f. Install vexar nylon webbing (E56) (146) on
shaft journal area (147).
