1-14 POWER SECTION ASSEMBLY

The power section assembly is
comprised of the integrated
compressor, combustion and
turbine section. The inte-
grated compressor utilized a
centrifugal impeller and dif-
fuser to provide the com-
pressed air for combustion and
bleed air purposes. Com-

and are discharged rearward
through the turbine wheel
which in turn, drives the com-
pressor and gearbox assembly
shaft (6).
