Stationary parts with cracks or elongated inserts, bolt or stud holes, eroded or otherwise damaged surfaces may be repaired by sleeving, bushing, welding, nickel brazing, or metalizing and machining to blueprint dimensions. All welding, nickel brazing, and metalizing shall be performed by certified operators. The metallurgical  bond  shall  be  certified  as being serviceable for the assigned functions of the part to which the metal has been applied.
