2. Measure insulation resistance on ignition coil
and cable assembly (1) as follows:
a. Set multimeter- range switch to R x 1000.
Touch red probe (6) to electrical connector
conductor (7).
b. Touch black probe (8) to electrical connec-
tor outer housing (9).
c. Meter shall indicate 1000 ohms minimum.
d. Touch red probe (6) to electrical connector
conductor (7).
e. Touch black probe (8) to electrical connector
outer housing (10).
f. Meter shall indicate 1000 ohms minimum.
