Corrosion preventive compound (E14)
is flammable and toxic. Use only in
well-ventilated area away from heat,
sparks and open flames. If swallowed
do not induce vomiting. Get medical
attention. In case of contact immedi-
ately flush skin and eyes with water
for 15 minutes. Get medical attention
for eyes.
Wait until engine is cool before proceed-
ing with this step. Failure to do so could
result in ignition.
NOTE
Following steps will assure corrosion pre-
ventive compound (E14) covers as much of
compressor blades as possible.

12 percent N1 rpm. With power lever
off, permit engine to coast down. (Ref.

ject snorkel tube (25) into areas between
inlet housing struts (26). Direct jet
stream of corrosion preventive compound
(E14) (24) onto rotating compressor
blades. Move jet stream from base to tip
for 30 seconds.
