e. Perform a snap deceleration from maximum power to flight idle without changing water brake load.
Record time for deceleration from maximum power to flight idle.
f. Run engine for 2 minutes at flight idle; then take a short reading. If cold weather trim tool LTCT5985
is being used, remove cold weather trim tool and install maximum power trim stop 2-161-201-02.
g. Determine power turbine (N2) speed required at maximum power for ambient temperature from
graph below.
