INTRODUCTION
SECTION I. GENERAL

SCOPE. This manual is for your use In with the
10kW, 28Vdc, Aviation Generator Set, MEP 362A The
type I (tactical), class 1 (precise), mode IV (dc output) set
Is used where precise power Is required. This manual
covers operation, lubrication, and maintenance The
maintenance procedures may be performed by the
operator/crew and organizational maintenance personnel
as determined by the Maintenance Allocation Chart
(MAC)

LIMITED APPLICABILITY. Some portions of
this publication are not applicable to all services and are
prefixed to Indicate the services to which they pertain,
(A) Army, and (N) Navy Portions not prefixed are
applicable to all services

MAINTENANCE FORMS AND RECORDS.

(A) Maintenance forms and records used by
Army personnel are prescribed by DA PAM 738-750
b.
(N) Navy users should refer to their service
peculiar directives to determine applicable maintenance
forms and records to be used

REPORTING OF ERRORS. Reporting of errors,
omissions, and recommendations for Improvement of
this publication by the Individual user Is encouraged

using DA Form 2407, Maintenance Request Instructions
for preparing EIRs are provided In DA PAM 738-750,

MAINTENANCE
