Inspect for chordal cracks from
leading
edge.
(a) There shall be no cracks (13) in vane
leading edge (14) longer than 3/8 inch.
NOTE
The following crack must not be closer than 3/32 inch
radial distance to trailing edge chordal crack shown in
step 2 b (1) (a).
(b) There shall be no vane with more than
one crack (15) longer than 3/32 inch.
(c) There shall be no vane with two cracks
(16) closer than 3/32 inch.
(d) There shall be no vane with more than
three cracks (16) up to 3/32 inches long.
(e) There shall be no more than two
adjacent vanes (3) with cracks (15)
longer than 3/32 inch.
(f)
There shall be no more than four vanes
(3) with cracks (15) longer than 3/32
inch.
