b. Clip black lead (8) to pin (7).
c. Meter shall indicate three ohms maximum. If meter
indicates more than three ohms, tag thermocouple
harness assembly as defective. Use tag (E58).
NOTE
A thermocouple harness assembly that has been found
defective during on engine testing shall have its leads
taped separately and then individually to the bus bar in
order to remove its signal input and to prevent damage to
the harness during engine operation. An engine may
remain in service with no more than one defective
harness provided that It Is replaced within the next 100
hours of engine operation.

Any harness found defective during special inspections
(hot end inspection), or during scheduled maintenance
