TEST ENGINE (AVIM) (Continued)
In following step, approach each point with decreasing Wf.
Record N1 and N2 speeds, Wf, combustor static pressure, and ambient temperature.
k. Check fuel control power lever protractor. Total travel between minimum stop and
maximum stop, after adjustments have been made, shall be 68 to 72 degrees. Travel
is to be measured with respect to the stop screws, not the travel of the pointer.
l. If requirement in preceding step k. cannot be met, replace fuel control.
Engine stability at all recorded points should be within
plus or minus one percent of maximum power for
ambient temperature recorded during test.
