OR BLEED BAND POPPING
T55-L-712 engines exhibit slight roughness or unstable operation during engine
deceleration through 30 percent normal rated power range. This characteristic is due
to momentary unstable air flow which occurs during deceleration, just prior to the
opening of interstage airbleed system. No attempt should be made to change this
deceleration characteristic of the T55-L-712 engine.
